A broad upper surface rests visually above the two drawer body, separated by an open horizontal recess that creates a clear division between solid volume and negative space. Rounded edges soften the geometry, while the uninterrupted drawer frontage maintains the enclosed identity of StormCell. The result is a composition that feels structured and substantial, yet visually lifted through the floating upper element.

Ash expresses the clarity and openness of daylight through its pale natural tones and softly defined grain. Light moves across the rounded surfaces and into the upper recess, emphasising the distinction between the suspended top and the enclosed body beneath. The timber lends an airy quality to the design, reducing its visual weight while preserving the depth and presence of the underlying form. This creates an atmosphere of calm, openness and understated balance.

The StormCell Top Draft Ash Compactum provides two spacious drawers for clothing and personal belongings, complemented by an open upper recess for frequently used objects or display.
