A simple, clean cut-out that is easy to finish and edge-band. Glass is secured from the back using suitable retaining brackets or clips, making this a practical option for smaller to medium-sized cabinet doors.
Rebated / Recessed Cut-Out
A recessed pocket is machined into the back of the door so the glass can be bonded in and sit flush with the rear face. This creates a cleaner, more integrated finish and is recommended for larger doors where added support and a more secure glass installation are preferred.
